In such context, LUIS PIEDRA BUENA was able to establish commercial and friendly relationships with the natives, wich would contribute to stregthen the Argentinean presence in that great territory. He became known for helping shipwerck victims and for his work at Pavon Island. He devoted his short life to his patriotic passion in such a way that many belive that without him.
